Frequently Asked Questions
Why Are These $30 Per Pair?
To make the best underwear on the planet the materials and construction costs more and we're not going to cut corners to hit a lower price point.
Our premium and non-toxic materials are produced under the strictest standards made by ethical factories leading the charge in sustainability and ethical pay/standards. That level of oversight costs more than throwing together polyester in a factory with zero standards - just like organic food costs more than conventional. Tighter controls, higher quality inputs and more oversight ensuring you have the safest and best underwear possible.
Factor in the performance build, stretch for shape retention, secure no-roll waistband and durability you will instantly realize the difference.
Put them on once and it makes complete sense.
Why Is Organic Cotton Better Than Polyester?
Polyester is plastic. Literally. It's a synthetic fabric made from petroleum and to make it wearable it gets loaded with chemical treatments. Many of which have been linked to hormone disruption, reduced fertility and long term health issues.
It also sheds microplastics directly onto your skin with every wear and because the groin area has thinner skin and higher blood vessel density than most of your body, it absorbs those chemicals faster than almost anywhere else.
Organic cotton is the opposite. No synthetic treatments, no microplastics, no forever chemicals. It breathes, naturally regulates temperature and the only thing touching your skin is the actual fiber - no chemicals.
You wouldn't wrap yourself in a plastic bag all day. Polyester underwear isn't far off.
Why Is Organic Cotton Better Than Regular Cotton?
Regular cotton sounds safe but It's not.
Conventional cotton uses more pesticides per acre than almost any other crop on the planet and those chemicals don't just stay on the farm. They follow the fiber through processing, dyeing and manufacturing, and end up embedded in the finished fabric sitting against your skin. Studies show some of the chemicals can remain even after washing.
Organic cotton is grown without synthetic pesticides from the start. What really separates it though is what happens after the farm. GOTS certification doesn't just regulate how the cotton is grown it covers every step of production through to the finished product including The dyes, processing and manufacturing. All of it held to the strictest standard in the industry.
Most brands slap "cotton" on the label and call it clean. That's not good enough for us.
What Do GOTS And OEKO-TEX Certifications Actually Mean?
In short:
This is the difference, this is how you can confirm the harsh chemicals and synthetics you're looking to avoid are gone.
Full Answer:
They’re independently tested standards that verify how the fabric is made and is free of harmful substances.
GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) means the cotton is certified organic and processed under strict environmental and manufacturing standards from farm to finished fabric.
OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 means the fabric and dyes have been tested for harmful substances and meet safety limits for human use.
Are These Good For Running And Working Out?
If you’re used to training in compression briefs, these are for you.
They’re built specifically for performance using an organic cotton-first fabric that’s breathable, flexible and designed for both running and lifting.
• No-roll waistband that stays locked in
• Leg openings designed to reduce ride-up
• Stretch that flexes through lifts, sprints, long runs and long days
• Tag-free back: no itching or irritation
• Breathable base to help reduce heat buildup
How Long Will They Last?
These are built to stay in your rotation for years.
Think of them as the last underwear you'll need to buy for a while. No more replacing a 6-pack every season because they've gone thin, lost their shape or the waistband has given up. The organic cotton is woven to hold up wash after wash. The stretch retains its shape without going slack. The waistband stays firm and flat. The fabric stays soft and actually gets softer over time.
Cheap underwear costs less upfront and more in the long run. Sorted is the opposite. One good pair that lasts years beats three cheap pairs you're replacing every few months every time.
